Give careful thought to your ways, they DO matter! One of the simplest ways to transform your life is to learn how to master positive thinking. Your brain is the control center for the rest of your body. If your thoughts are unhealthy your body will surely follow. Habits, hang ups and how you react to life itself impacts how positive you are. If you often feel down or "under the weather" have you ever thought to think about your thoughts? Positive thinking can transform your life. Let's unleash its power and combat negative thoughts.


What is Positive Thinking?



Thoughts are ideas and opinions that our brains formulate based off of current situations and are often impacted by past experiences. They typically occur suddenly as reactions to mental, physical or emotional stimulus. Untrained minds tend to have very random and varying thoughts. This can cause negative thinking in our minds when we encounter negativity or negative situations.


On the other hand, positive thinking comes from positive situations and thoughts. You don't have to always have positive thoughts to think positively, but you do have to counteract negative thoughts that randomly "pop up" in your mind. You cannot allow negativity to settle in your mind or in your heart if you want positive thinking to make an impact in your life.


The habit of positive thinking will lead to beneficial results in your life and in others around you. Your thoughts and your actions tend to go hand in hand. If you want to be successful in life and feel fulfilled and have joy (happiness is another choice you have) you must escape a negative mindset. You too can discover the power of positivity in your life by taking charge of your thoughts and flipping them from negative to positive.


How to Begin Thinking Positive Thoughts



Living your best life requires making healthy choices. These decisions being in your mind. It means that you are actively seeking to promote your well-being and others. Developing your compassion for others while still respecting yourself is an excellent place to start. You must learn how to continue to feed your energy without burnout, especially while you are learning the habit of positive thinking. Burnout leads to negative thinking, always.


If you want to train your mind to think positive thoughts you must first discover what isn’t working for you and decide what to prune away what is no longer serving. This makes room for healthy growth. Remove any comparison trap that is limiting from your mind. Unless it is helping you become positive, comparison will quickly shift into negative thoughts, and if you let it, a negative mindset.


Fueling your mind, body and soul holistically will help you overcome negativity in your mind and help you begin to think positive thoughts. Positivity is fundamental in learning how to thrive. It is essential for optimal health and will help you harness success in your life.

When we were children, our parents chose to “pick” their battles with us. In return, we do the same for our children. What a valuable thing to be able to look at the situation in front of you, right where you are, and choose whether it serves you well or not. How powerful to be able to understand whether the things that stir you up inside are worth holding onto or eliminating. Success is waiting for you to remove what isn’t helping you thrive and replace it with things that will help you flourish. Give careful thought to your ways and choose wisely. Your thoughts control mindset. It's your choice if you want to have a positive or negative mentality.


Now is the Time to Begin Thinking Positively



There’s never going to be a perfect moment. You’re never going to see the entire path before you. Now is all that you are promised. Can you trust where your feet are planted? Will they lead you beyond your dreams or trap you in reality?⁣ Not being able to see the entire picture can bring doubt or fear flooding in. Can you trust your foundation will sustain you?⁣ If nothing more, in this moment realize you are 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨.


Don’t wait or hesitate. Embrace where you are, secure your footing & inhale the future.⁣ Walk away from what was, as it did what it was meant to and brought you where you are.⁣ Enjoy the process, as that is where meaning is found. Walk in belief and be amazed. Learn how to embrace this mentality and you'll be once set closer to impacting your life through the power of positive thinking. Be persistent and listen to the good voices in your mind. Believe in where you are going and you will succeed and overcome your fear of failure.


Kindness is as contagiously positive. If you start a ripple of kindness you can sit back and watch the wave through your life and others. There are many things you can rightfully second guess. Being kind isn’t one of them. Always choose to be kind. You don’t know where everyone is at or where they have come from. What if you were the last person they ever spoke with? Imagine the impact you can make in your life and others by choosing kindness. This type of positive impact makes a significant difference in your mindset and positively affects everyone around you. Making these shifts will surely help you experience the benefits of positive thinking and transform your life.


Confidence Plays a Major Role in Your Positive Mindset



What does it mean to be confident? It is being able to be genuinely kind without feeling obligated or vulnerable. It is being ok no matter what others might think because it has no need to compare. Confidence doesn’t let negative feelings take control. It’s understanding that when you enter a room, most people are actually focused on themselves and what others think about them. Not everything is about you. Your positive or negative focus determines how confident you feel. Walk in confidence. Wear it outwardly.


Learning to be more confident will create a positive mindset in you without letting pride and comparison get in the way. Does how you look determine how you feel? Does how you feel determine how you look? How many times do you look in the mirror or change outfits before you feel acceptable? Learn to control these thoughts and you will master confidence.


Intentional Thoughts will help you to Embrace Positive Change In Your Life



If you want to become healthier, you have to become intentional about it. I tried to live at everyone else’s pace. I barely rested, ate on the go and tried to live up to an impossible ideal I created. I honestly felt a lot like this picture. Not quite secure in my footing and always having the possibility of tripping or falling on my mind.


No secret formula exists. Life is a series of trials and errors until you understand what works best for you personally. You will continue to feel overwhelmed and exhausted until you take the steps to become healthy physically, relationally, emotionally and spiritually. Your decisions affect more than just you.
