A Simple Detox Plan
To detox simply means to eliminate toxins or harmful substances, but it doesn't happen by accident. There truly are too many toxins to count. None of them can help you live healthy. Our bodies came with a built in detoxification system. Our digestive system, skin, liver, kidneys and lungs all work together to remove pollutants from our bodies. Sometimes the amount of toxins that we take in and cultivate will overpower our body's ability to get rid of them naturally and in turn will weaken our immune system.
Our minds also need to detox. Feeding our minds with pollutants and nurturing them with negativity and comparison has left many of us depleted and malnourished. If we aren’t intentional we can end up Inflamed with all of the toxins we are carrying with us. There are some things we can do to support our body's detoxification system.

It’s amazing how many contagions we encounter every day, that we don’t ever notice.
This year, it’s become extremely evident that there are things in life that are highly contagious besides viruses. Anxiety, panic, sadness, disappointment, anger, agitation, stagnation.... The list is endless.
It’s also time to note that good things are also contagious! Smiles, happiness, friendliness, thoughtfulness, generosity, LOVE...
No matter where you are at, you have a choice as to what you are intentionally spreading! If your attitude needs an adjustment, it’s ok to self quarantine for a bit or seek help to actively adjust your mind. If it’s time to get healthy... now is the time!

Health is wealth. It's not just a phrase, it’s a truth. We must work to be healthy. It’s not just a given. Without health, our time and resources become even more limited. Every one of us will experience some sort of health struggle(s) in our lives. It’s up to us what we choose to do with them.
Several years ago I became ill out of seemingly nowhere. Testing and prodding and evaluating all took time, but once a diagnosis was given, a road to healing finally began. Detoxing isn't just something we consume that pushes the toxins out of our bodies, it's much more complicated than that. Detoxing physically begins with balancing your body's PH and eliminating toxin and allergen intake. Adding activity and movement to this process will help you clean your insides much quicker and will help your body heal as well as repair on the cellular level. Learning how to take care of yourself will help you live healthy.
Detoxing emotionally involves analyzing your thoughts and turning reactions into well formed actions. It begins with removing negative thoughts and emotions through intentionality and consciously replacing them with positive ones. Emotional detoxification is needed to have a healthy mind, which in turn affects every other aspect of your life physically and spiritually. Learn how to escape negativity and discover positivity.
Removing toxicity from your spiritual life is the icing on the cake. We were created to love and show love. We were created in the image of our creator, but sometimes that line gets blurred. The world around us is grabbing at our attention indefinitely and telling us that we deserve whatever we desire, just because we exist.
If you are spiritually unhealthy avoid filling yourself with garbage, deception, hate, envy and any other toxin that is threatening your growth. The entertainment of this world is mystifying and quite intriguing, but it can really pull us away from the truth that we all need to know. We have been created to create, but that does not make us equal to our creator.
Take the time to learn what you believe and determine what is right and true, take time to develop this relationship and the very things that are contrary to your beliefs will become evident as to what needs to be eliminated. Learn how to live in God's light.
